A conversation between John Stewart and Dave Gorman on The Daily Show -
Stewart: "A Fox News poll has [Bush's approval rating] down to 32-33%. That can't be good for the Bush administration"
Gorman: "Depends on how you look at it John. 33% is more than enough to win an election."
Stewart: "...Uh...Dav...Dave, it's not."
Gorman: "It is John if you look at it right:
"This chart represents the population of America,
"and these folks represent the 33% of people who approve of the president.
"But voter turnout at the last election was only 61%,
"which means that 39% of the population doesn't count.
"So now, the Bush-approving 33% is 54% of the voters. More than enough to win an election, especially when you consider that's the same 33% that has the guns.
